SenseTime open-sources Code2Video: code-driven, editable AI video generation
AIwithGhotai · x · 2026-11-08
SenseTime open-sourced SenseNova 6.8 Code2Video, billed as the industry's first major model built for code-driven video generation. Instead of black-box video, it writes actual code defining visuals, animation, timing and structure, then hands over editable source. It can turn prompts into inspectable/extendable code videos, recreate a reference video's structure and motion as code, and refine iteratively via conversation. Full open release includes weights, skills, demo prompts, source code and generation traces; the launch film was made with the tool itself.
