Dev builds custom workspace linking ChatGPT planning directly to Codex coding
Specific-Animal6570 · reddit · 2026-11-08
A developer on Reddit is showcasing a work-in-progress custom workspace that bridges ChatGPT and OpenAI Codex, eliminating manual copy-pasting of prompts between the two. The workspace has two dedicated modes: Planner for planning, reasoning and exploring ideas, and Codex for turning those ideas and instructions into actual code. Still early stage, but the author shared a first look at the interface and asked whether the community would find a direct ChatGPT-to-Codex workflow useful.
