Tesla to Launch More Efficient Cybercab in 2025; Analyst Sees Sub-$15k COGS at Scale
JOBhakdi · x · 2026-11-08
Elon Musk confirmed Tesla plans an even more efficient Cybercab next year: a 40 kWh battery (16% smaller than the current 47.6 kWh pack), curb weight likely below 3,000 lbs, and a liquid silver finish — on top of an industry-best 6.18 miles per kWh.
Investor Stewart Alsop estimates that at multi-million unit annual scale, Cybercab COGS will fall below $15k while generating $30k+ in yearly margin per vehicle, calling it arguably the greatest business model after Optimus.
