The team's last company scaled to petabytes on ClickHouse and saw infra bills go vertical, so they rebuilt the ClickHouse engine with separated compute and storage. They claim 100x faster and 20x cheaper than Snowflake and Databricks, already processing trillions of rows daily. Thesis: feeding agents' data appetite is becoming a cost bottleneck traditional warehouses weren't designed or priced for.
