At Foxconn's HHTD event in Taiwan, Munich-based Agile Robots showed a dual-arm mobile robot being co-developed inside Foxconn's own factories. It picks component reels (resistors, capacitors) and feeds SMT placement machines, then moves trays between stations. Specs: 5.8 kg per arm (13.5 kg combined), mobile base up to 1.2 m/s with SLAM and onboard mapping, running on the Idealworks platform also used at BMW plants, with Agile's own software stack.
