Founder fires back at claims that thousands of AI x biotech startups are grifting

Stanford researcher Anshul Kundaje argued that thousands of AI x biotech startups over-hype their capabilities, and said he understands why a drug company CEO calls BS on the grift-enriched pool — while still affirming AI will ultimately deliver.
Founder RecursiveChris pushed back: are all founders grifters while pharma CEOs get a pass? He also asked what percentage of specific aims in tax-funded academic grants actually get delivered, arguing there is nothing wrong with imagining a different future — honesty and integrity while pushing the frontier is what moves us forward, even when bets don't pay off.
