Qwen Image Edit users report weird criss-cross skin artifacts in one-image edit workflows
AkaToraX · reddit · 2026-11-08
A Reddit user reports that in the Pixaroma Ep 36 workflow 'Qwen Image 2.1 - One Image Edit', asking Qwen Image Edit for a tiny change like 'make this character smile' introduces a weird criss-cross pattern on the skin (clearly visible in the before/after comparison), instantly making the image look fake and AI-generated.
The author says the model otherwise works amazingly well but can't get past this skin artifact, and asks the community for fixes.
