Kaigen engine runs thousands of bot clients locally on the same code path as real players
gdechichi · x · 2026-11-08
The developer of Kaigen 3D showed off its multiplayer testing setup: --clients opens as many windows as you want and --bots spawns bots that connect exactly like real players, with thousands of connected bots supported on a local dev machine.
The key detail: every bot is an actual client sending input to the server through the same code path as human players, making large-scale load tests far more realistic.
