MOSS-Image reassessed: the Image Edit LoRA transforms it into a capable inpainting model

Reddit user CuirPig revisited MOSS-Image for inpainting. His earlier test was admittedly unfair and unimpressive — there was little reason to expect the base model to beat dedicated inpainting models like Qwen Image Edit 2.1 or Flux.2 Klein 9B.
But with the new ComfyUI image-edit workflows plus the Image Edit LoRA, he says it's an entirely different beast: the Edit LoRA lets MOSS-Image do most of what those dedicated models can. The workflow is the official MOSS-Image Image Edit LoRA workflow adapted for inpainting, and he'll share the files in a comment.
