Viggle-Remake hands-on: wiring its MCP to ComfyUI workers with Claude for full video remake
thefi3nd · reddit · 2026-11-08
An author tested the newly open-sourced Viggle-Remake video character-remake model and built a full remake video with it.
Key findings and workarounds:
- The official MCP defaults to diffusers, which no consumer GPU can run; but the MCP supports custom workers, so the author had Claude write a ComfyUI worker, letting the MCP render locally in Comfy
- Frame editing: Claude used Codex CLI to generate edited frames, presented them for human approval, then sent them to Comfy for video generation; swapping in a local edit model is next
- Audio pipeline: SAM-Audio Large (via audio.cpp) separated vocals from background noise (lighter MelBandRoFormer wasn't good enough), Fish Audio S2 Pro generated the new voice with carefully length-matched translations, Claude rapid-tested TTS models and fit timings, subtitles done by hand in Davinci
A practical walkthrough of chaining Viggle-Remake + agents + local Comfy into a complete video-remake pipeline.
