Cyberpunk short film made with no gen-video: Opus wrote Blender scripts for everything

A Redditor released 'MACHINE GOD: CHAPTER 0', a cyberpunk short film made with zero generative video models or generated images. The script, shot list, story and sparse dialogue are the author's own; 'Opus 5.5 ultra' wrote Python that built and rendered everything in Blender — the city, crowds and chrome robot — in anime-style layers, with its own compositor handling camera moves, sparks and effects. Voices and song came from ElevenLabs; sound effects from freesound or synthesis.
The process took days of back-and-forth: dozens of iterations and versions, with the model returning new scenes and cuts after each round of notes, all rendered on a Mac. It demonstrates a content pipeline of LLM-written code driving 3D software, bypassing video generation entirely.
