burkov · x · 2026-11-08
Henry Rich's classic J for C Programmers has joined ChapterPal's collection of author-approved free books, available in both the original 2008 version and a corrected 2026 edition. J is the terse array language created by APL inventor Kenneth E. Iverson and Roger Hui, optimized for mathematical and statistical analysis. The book teaches C programmers whole-array operations and functional techniques that replace scalar loops with far shorter code.
