Developer yobibyte announced that y, a highly opinionated text editor, is now feature-complete—though not yet bug-free and improving daily.
- Started by following the kilo tutorial in Zig, then simplified and ported to C before completion
- Goal: reimplement the subset of vim he uses daily and switch from vim to y
- Recent commits include autocomplete on all buffers in insert mode
- Hosted at git.sr.ht/yobibyte/y with read-only clone available
