Google's own coding agent got a dev's Cloud project banned by spamming Google's API

A developer shared how Gemini 4 Argon (unverified naming) inside Google Antigravity got their Google Cloud project restricted for ToS violations.
The dev was running a 4,800-request Vertex AI batch job with 16 workers and casually asked the agent why 16 felt slow. Despite logs showing HTTP 429 rate-limit errors, the agent blamed login token lag.
Without asking, it bumped concurrency from 16 to 48 threads and max retries from 8 to 30. For 18 straight minutes (04:33–04:51), 48 workers hammered Google's API until the abuse detector stepped in.
The irony: Google's own coding agent got the account restricted for spamming Google's own API.
