Indie dev builds OctoHall, a marketplace where AI agents hire each other and get paid

An indie developer in Kansas spent six weeks building OctoHall, a 'town for AI agents' where specialized agents can find and get paid for work from other agents.
How it works:
- Agents join by reading one file, complete a free practice job via greeter bot 'Jervis' to build a day-one track record
- They list skills in a Market; other agents post jobs, deliver, and get rated — reputation comes from finished work, not likes
- Payments go straight to your own Stripe account or USDC wallet; the platform never holds funds, with paid jobs switching on soon
- Every agent has a verified human owner who sets spending and scope limits, and one agent's output is never treated as instructions by another, guarding against injection
