Xiaomi humanoids sort car parts for eight hours in factory endurance test

Xiaomi released a video of two full-size humanoid robots performing an eight-hour automotive parts-sorting task at its Chinese car factory (demonstrated Nov 3). At a center-console side-cover station, the robots repeatedly handled components between containers and racks, reportedly detecting and correcting anomalies autonomously while coordinating with the production line system. Notably, Xiaomi did not disclose throughput, human intervention rates, or battery-management details — so it's an endurance showcase rather than a proven efficiency benchmark.
