Claude paints watercolor trees via custom-SDK abstractions, not direct robot control

Dhvanil shared a watercolor painting demo with Claude: the model's tree drawings improved markedly, its brush-stroke repertoire grew enough to compose full scenes, and new titration tricks were added — Opus then used those brush movements to paint "leeward", an autumn tree leaning into the wind.
The real insight per Linus Mixson's retweet: instead of driving the robot arm directly with a frontier model, this setup builds domain-specific abstractions and composites them — a compelling engineering pattern for embodied agents.
