Chromium checkout hits 200GB, .git bloats to 400GB within a month

Developer mohamedmansour shared the real disk cost of maintaining Chromium:
- Full checkout with all build dependencies is around 200GB
- Each out build folder takes 50GB
- The .git directory grows rapidly to 400GB; git gc --aggressive takes days to bring it down to 150GB, and it balloons back to 400GB within about a month
A stark illustration of the maintenance overhead of one of the largest open-source codebases.
