A creator benchmarked FlashVSR+Turbo (TC2) against SeedVR2 7B INT8 on a RTX 4090, upscaling three 10.3s clips from 720p to 2560×1440: 7m48s vs 17m58s (2.3x faster). Texture detail (hair, beard, clothing) actually improved; the Base variant costs 20% more time for little gain. Uses local + sparse global attention with reward-guided distillation; code and weights fully open, official demos run 4K on a 24GB 4090.
