Claude Code Built an Open-Source AI Voice Studio — and Its 7-Minute Trailer
ArchAngelAries · reddit · 2026-11-07
A developer presents VoiceVault, a free AGPL-3.0 Windows app running AI voices, character chat and music locally, with Claude Code (Opus) writing most of the code. Claude also produced the entire 7-minute release trailer: scripting, voice casting, voicing lines via the app's own local models (Fish Audio Drama 3, Maya1, YuE2), scripted screen recording, and frame-by-frame HTML-compositor editing synced via a forced aligner. Dogfooding surfaced real bugs, fixed in v0.1.1, and the workflow was captured as reusable skills.
