Fully Local AI Cartoon: DGX Spark Renders 22-Second Film in 4.5 Hours, No Cloud
OdinLovis · x · 2026-11-07
Josh Daws shows a Christmas short made 100% with local models — every frame and sound generated on a desktop NVIDIA DGX Spark, no cloud or subscriptions. He only typed "make a Christmas short under a minute" plus "Santa" and "1930s cartoon style"; Opus 5.5 wrote the story and narration, generated all 28 shots, rejected bad takes, mixed sound and edited. Total: 4.5 hours (first cut in 1 hour, 3 hours GPU time) for 22 seconds of film. Built with Imagination Studio, a free open-source local film studio by Sam Wasserman that downloads all needed models in one installer.
