dotey · x · 2026-11-07
Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on Nov 5, its first general-availability video model. It generates up to 15 seconds of video with audio, priced 30% below v1.1 at $0.07/sec for 720p ($1.04 per 15s clip); 360p drafts cost $0.35, 1080p $1.56, 4K $3.13.
- Access: developers via Gemini API in AI Studio, enterprises via Google Cloud (no free tier); consumers can generate free 15s clips in Google Vids, and it's rolling out to AI Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app, plus Flow and Google Ads.
- Upgrades: 10s→15s length, and conversational multi-turn editing of the same clip (swap products, backgrounds, lighting, aspect ratio) for ad variants.
- From Dec 3, v1.1 calls auto-route to v1.2 at the new price.
