NVIDIA's Lyra 2.0 turns a single image into an explorable, consistent 3D world
NVIDIAAI · x · 2026-11-07
NVIDIA previewed its SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 lineup (Dec 1–4, Kuala Lumpur), headlined by Lyra 2.0, which turns a single image into a 3D world you can explore.
- Combines video generation with 3D reconstruction to build environments along a user-chosen camera path
- Lyra draws on earlier views and learns to correct accumulating visual errors, keeping the world consistent when revisiting familiar places
- Paper, code, and demos are already available
- The conference also packs training labs and technical sessions: URDF-to-USD ROS 2 simulation in Isaac Sim, 3D Gaussian Splatting world simulation, physical AI with Cosmos 3, robot learning with Isaac Lab and Newton, and neural rendering
A useful agenda for anyone tracking generative 3D and embodied AI.
