Qwen 3.8 freehand-draws a dog in MS Paint via computer use, and the internet loves it
Porespellar · reddit · 2026-11-07
A Redditor used Open WebUI 0.13.0 with Open Terminal 0.17.2 to let Qwen 3.8 control a sandboxed Windows VM and freehand-draw a dog in MS Paint — no SVG, no Python cheating, just real mouse coordinates. The new Open WebUI release lets models drive a full desktop programmatically or via Computer Use, with browser-based takeover when needed. The screenshot shows the model calibrating canvas coordinates as it draws, then complimenting itself on the result.
