Nearly 600 devs submitted iPhone Duo apps in two weeks; MacStories curates the best productivity picks
Dimillian · x · 2026-11-07
MacStories' Federico Viticci shares his first curated list of productivity apps for Apple's iPhone Duo foldable, which he increasingly uses as a pocket computer with an external keyboard — its multitasking limits actually boost focus.
Key points:
- MacStories received nearly 600 developer submissions for iPhone Duo apps and updates in two weeks, an influx compared to the early iPad era
- Most new apps strike a balance between iPadOS and iOS experiences
- The team stresses editorial curation, resisting unfiltered directories of apps 'thrown together with two Claude Code prompts' in the age of AI software abundance
