Professor finishes months-long academic assessment in hours with AI
lemire · x · 2026-11-07
Daniel Lemire argues "AI is going to eat bureaucracy": tasked with a certificate-program assessment that normally takes weeks or months and yields a 100-page report, he fed thousands of documents to AI and finished in hours, with far better results. His takeaway: those not using agentic AI will be overwhelmed, while the time tax of bureaucracy melts every month. He expects to fully automate the bureaucratic part of his job soon.
