prof_kamilov · x · 2026-11-07
UW-Madison's Electrical & Computer Engineering department is hiring tenure-track faculty (Assistant/Associate/Full) in Physical AI, targeting perception and multimodal sensing, learning and modeling of physical dynamics, and foundations of learning, control, and decision-making for robotics and autonomous systems. The department has 52 tenure-track faculty (35%+ women), 400 grad students, and 1,100+ undergrads — a sign that Physical AI is becoming a formal academic hiring track.
