AI engineer redesigns data center cooling, beats published turbine blade design, now open-sourced

StandardPhys introduced an "AI engineer" that turns physics simulations into better designs: it redesigned a data center's cooling system to use less electricity and found a turbine blade that beats a leading published design.
The system forms a loop between Reynolds (simulating what happens) and Archimedes (using those results to explore what to build next). The simulation agent behind it is now open-sourced.
Commentator JaynitMakwana argues that open-sourcing both components lets engineers inspect, extend, and build their own workflows on top — making autonomous engineering feel much more real.
