Agent order numbers don't add up: platforms report single digits, users claim hundreds
mobileraj · x · 2026-11-07
DoorDash says only 'several hundred' agent orders ever and Uber reported 4 agent rides in Halloween week, yet anecdotes from users suggest teams have placed 100 DoorDash orders via agents in a month alone — two anecdotes cover 100% of reported volume. Either platforms can't distinguish agent from human browsing or the numbers are sandbagged; confusing agent vs human traffic is itself a double-edged problem.
