Moonshot AI's Kimi K3.1 Pro is now available on Microsoft Foundry. The open-weight model targets agentic workloads with text-and-image understanding and up to a 1M-token context window, improving on Kimi K3 for coding, research, and multi-step tasks. Microsoft's blog highlights use cases: tracing changes across large repos, grounding research in lengthy reports, and combining text with charts/images—while noting that a big context window isn't a shortcut; cost and speed still matter. Developer elbruno deployed it and connected it to Copilot App.
