MABEL: an open-source wheeled semi-humanoid robot built for serving people
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-11-06
Between desktop-sized mobile robots and bipeds lies an overlooked design space, and MABEL is a strong example: a wheeled base for speed, an elevating torso for working at different heights, and a semi-humanoid form that fits human environments with a cute, approachable look for natural interaction. The team uses a full-stack co-design approach for real-world deployment, and the project is fully open-source.
