Open-source local MCP reads your WhatsApp/Telegram and drafts replies in your tone
SuccessfulCress7441 · reddit · 2026-11-06
An open-source messaging-mcp server runs locally and lets an agent read your WhatsApp/Telegram messages and draft replies matching your tone. Ask "what did Alice send me?" to get a summary (voice notes transcribed locally with Whisper) plus reply options, sent only after your confirmation. Built in Rust with a small Go bridge; every message sends at most once and nothing leaves without your yes. Caveat: WhatsApp uses an unofficial client, so it's for personal chats only, not bulk use.
