TailSteer: trajectory-tail steering curbs drift in multi-turn image editing without changing the model
_akhaliq · x · 2026-11-06
The SenseNova team published TailSteer, a method targeting long-horizon drift in multi-turn image editing. It adds a final refinement stage after SFT, RL, or OPD, unlocking persistent multi-turn editing without changing the model's architecture or inference pipeline, while preserving the base model's generative and editing capabilities.
The paper shows synchronized 20-turn editing comparisons; code, model weights, and datasets are open-sourced on the project page.
