Creator Builds Cyberpunk Music Video With 5 AI Tools: 80 Renders, 6 Environments

A creator spent a week building 'Techno Girl', a hardstyle/techno reimagining of 'Barbie Girl' set in a cyberpunk world of living cybernetic dolls. The full pipeline: YuE 2 for music, ComfyUI for character design, Qwen 2.1 for image editing and refinement, Krea 2 for environments, and MiniMax H3 to animate each shot before editing everything to the music.
Animation was the hardest part — believable dancing, natural facial expressions, character consistency and convincing crowd motion took heavy trial and error. Crowd scenes were especially tricky: getting dozens of characters to dance independently rather than in sync, plus the usual AI video issues (inconsistent anatomy, appearance drift, odd movement, scale problems). Some shots worked on the first try; others needed many revisions. The final video spans roughly 80 individual renders across six environments — far more involved than a single prompt.
