Button labels have hidden grammar: are you asking it to do something, or doing it yourself?

- Designer @tophtucker points out that button labels follow two hidden grammars: some phrase the button as if you're asking it to do something to you ("Alert me"), others as if you're performing the action yourself ("Post").
- The difference reflects two mental models of interaction — delegating to the system vs. completing an action yourself. Keeping this perspective consistent in UI copy reduces friction and confusion.
