Is AMD 7900 XT/XTX viable for video generation in late 2026?

With GPU prices still insane, the poster says sub-$1000 cards with 20+ GB VRAM are basically AMD-only and is deciding between the 7900 XT (20 GB) and 7900 XTX (24 GB). After a bad ComfyUI experience on a 6000-series card a year ago, they ask whether these cards now work properly for video generation (planning to use MiniMax H3).
