OpenClaw agents drown macOS in Chrome tabs until memory runs out

A Reddit user running multiple OpenClaw agents reports agents opening so many Chrome tabs that Chrome becomes unresponsive and macOS runs out of application memory. Tab-reuse prompts, automatic cleanup and bug fixes only helped temporarily. They use separate browser profiles and custom browser-management code, so it may not be an OpenClaw bug, and are asking for long-term fixes beyond "close Chrome" or "buy more RAM."
