LTX 2.5 motion glitch traced to new text encoder — swapping back to LTX 2.3 projection fixes it
brocolongo · reddit · 2026-11-06
Reddit user brocolongo diagnosed why LTX 2.5 video generations had broken motion and consistency: the gemma4-12b-with-proj-ltx-2.5 text encoder in the default template is the culprit.
Workaround: take an old LTX 2.3 workflow, swap in the LTX 2.5 main model, and use the ltx2.3textprojection + gemma-3-12b combo — generation works flawlessly again. Comparison images show near-identical quality before/after. Further testing shows complex motion still struggles, but simple scenes work great. He shared test results and workflow files via Google Drive, and suggests trying a Gemma 4 model with the old workflow (untested).
