Team members at Thinking Machines announced Inkling 2 Small, the second model in their series, focused on visual creation and coding. A small team shipped major gains over its predecessor in webdev, 3D, and game dev; the model is now playable on Tinker.
The attached DesignArena Overall Frontend chart shows Inkling 2 Small scoring 1376, right behind Claude Opus 5.5 (1388), GPT-6 Astra (1387), and Muse Wonder (1382), and ahead of GPT-6.1 Sol and Kimi K3.1 Pro.
