Bloomberg reports an unnamed seller put roughly $500 million in data center loans up for bid — one of the first auctions composed entirely of data center debt — including a $25 million piece of OpenAI's Stargate site in New Mexico, plus debt tied to Vantage and CyrusOne.
The commentator notes Oracle, the site's tenant, had sent the developer a force majeure notice back in September, suggesting the loan sale is unsurprising, and argues the timing looks deliberate given broader market weakness.
