Journalist Olivia Reingold shared that she used ChatGPT to brighten and sharpen a photo of a woman wearing Valentino shoes and carrying a Chanel bag — after processing, the woman still wears the same items, because she really was wearing them. Researcher Tuhin Chakrabarty jokingly replied "You should be fired!!!", turning it into a viral AI-circle moment.
