Paper proposes Multi-developer Agentic Systems (MDAs) as the next scaling axis

A new paper introduces Multi-developer Agentic Systems (MDAs). The authors argue AI scaling has moved from parameters → reasoning → agent swarms, and the next axis is scaling across developers: the future economy will host many specialized AI developer agents that benefit greatly from working together, much like a multi-developer team.
The paper demonstrates how this could work and discusses multiple advantages of MDAs over today's monolithic systems.
