Mystery seller auctions $500M in data center loans, including Stargate financing

Per Bloomberg, an anonymous seller is auctioning about $500 million in data center loans all at once — a dozen loans — days after midterms cast doubt on many projects.
The package includes a $25 million piece of financing for a large Stargate site in New Mexico, the joint project of OpenAI, SoftBank and Oracle. Oracle has already sent that site's developer a force majeure notice, legally claiming events beyond its control may excuse it from obligations. The move signals mounting stress in AI data center credit markets.
