Tesla reportedly doubling Giga Texas output with night shift to ramp Cybercab
mitchdeg · x · 2026-11-06
Per drone pilot Joe Tegtmeyer, Tesla's Giga Texas is doubling production by adding a night shift (likely two 12-hour shifts) to ramp Cybercab output and clear the Model Y L backlog; drone footage shows outbound lots full of gold Cybercabs. Tesla already runs 300+ Cybercabs in Austin, with Dallas Robotaxi rides set to launch this month. Tesla hasn't confirmed the change.
