AI shopping assistant wabi announced a Shopify partnership that brings shopping directly into group chats. Ask wabi to 'find us a tent and sleeping bags' and it tailors recommendations using the group's plans, tastes, and budgets, searching millions of merchants, comparing prices, checking live availability, and surfacing working discounts. Once everyone agrees, users check out via Shop Pay and track orders in-chat.
