One question, four query languages: SQL, SPARQL, Cypher, GQL return identical answers

Using the NCES IPEDS 2024 dataset, the author asked one question — which schools offer fully online health-professions master's degrees with >60% six-year graduation rates — in SQL (DuckDB 2.0), SPARQL (rdflib 7.6), Cypher (Kùzu 0.11.3), and ISO GQL (GraphLite 0.0.1).
All four returned the identical six schools: USC (91.8%), NYU (87.6%), UW-Seattle (85.2%), Baylor (80.0%), UCF (78.0%), and Keiser-Ft Lauderdale (61.0%). The takeaway: differences lie in semantic modeling and implementation, not syntax. Code, data, and results are open-sourced on GitHub — a valuable experiment for database architects.
