Eon Yukon: serverless engine feeds agents live Iceberg tables, 4x less compute than Spark
dr_cintas · x · 2026-11-06
Eon launched Yukon, a serverless data engine built for AI agents: incoming data lands as clean Apache Iceberg tables in your own S3/GCS bucket, with no per-agent pipelines.
- Cleans, dedupes and sorts events within seconds, updating usage totals in the same pass
- Serves agents live table stats and descriptions via MCP; queryable with serverless SQL
- Public benchmark: at 1M events/sec and equal freshness, 4x less compute than Spark and 7x less than Flink
The company's thesis: the biggest AI adoption bottleneck today isn't model capability but data infrastructure still designed for dashboards.
