n8n launches Agents product after running 12,000+ workflows in-house

Automation platform n8n has launched n8n Agents, letting AI agents call the company's battle-tested workflows as tools. n8n itself already runs 12,000+ automated workflows internally.
- The agent reads requests and decides what needs to happen, but hands critical steps (refunds, invoices, customer record changes) to pre-built workflows that run exactly as written.
- Every step is logged, and sensitive actions can require human approval.
It's a bet against the industry's fully-autonomous-agent trend: judgment from the model, execution from a trusted process. The catch — the agent is only as good as the workflows behind it.
