shadcn's creator argues agents love registries and urges developers to build one for almost anything. Quoted developer @orcdev shows how: every UI component in his recording/streaming app Videorc is shadcn/ui over Base UI, managed through a custom registry that made it easier to control components, test new ideas, and iterate outside the app. The Videorc component library is now public — installable via pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @videorc/command — with live previews of its AI-native studio UI: session controls, stream manager, multi-platform chat aggregation, tips and subscription events.
