Gladia Survey of 2,100 Users Finds Only 1 in 3 Pick Their Own AI Meeting Assistant
JiliJeanlouis · x · 2026-11-05
Gladia, which powers many meeting assistants behind the scenes, published its first large-scale original survey of 2,100 AI meeting assistant users across 6 countries.
Key findings:
- Only about 1 in 3 users choose their own meeting assistant; the rest have it picked by their company. Users open to switching often aren't reacting to product failure—they simply never chose the tool and have no attachment.
- Most users barely know what else exists, yet many are open to switching, which the author reads as a market still wide open for whoever earns trust on both sides of the buying decision.
- For builders: win both the person in the meeting and the person who signs off on the tool.
